I. Jeremiah Appeals to God for Israel
Lam 5:1 Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
In concluding his lamentations, Jeremiah cries out to God to remember all that had come upon His people. He cries out for God to consider their sad situation. Without God, we are nothing. The devil may give us a feeling that we can make it own our on, but when we try, we find out that we need God every hour of everyday.
